Mert (his real name) was born in North Cyprus. Since he was child he had a big passion for dance music. He was going to day parties back in the 1995 when jungle was the scene just for dancing, which also he was 12. When he became 17 he decided he needed to do something about his passion to dance music and with the support of his family and one of the best DJ in the island DJ Baris he got his first decks and mixer. Every year he was becoming better in DJing and he was djing at local bars and at house parties.
In the year 2003 he became the 3rd best dj in the DJ Select Competition but he practised his djing skills and in the year 2004 he became the best dj in the DJ Select Competition which is held in Cyprus. Also he was given Dance Fm special award and had an contract with Lions Garden Disco which is one of the biggest club in Cyprus with the capacity of 1500 to DJ for 1 month. At the same time he earned a Business Administration degree from the Eastern Mediterranean University.
Then he decided to move to London to advance his DJing skills and learn to poduce electronic dance music at the Academy of Contemporary Music School (Vestax Dj Academy) with the big support from his family and earned a higer diploma degree with distinction. He learned different aspects of DJing and producing Music from the highly respected tutors such as Chad Jackson (DMC World Champion 87) Jim Jomoa (Pro DJ), Les Adams (Pro DJ & Writer IDJ) and J-MEA (Hybrid Scratch DJ). Also he met with Emre Yazgin (Producer & Sound Engineer) when he was studying at ACM and learned a lot from him to use the music production software such as Cubase and now they are working together to produce electro house tunes.
Year 2005 was a big year for Mert and he got his first gig with the Audio - Electro by hosting the Juno room in Turnmills at the Smartie Partie (best house night in london) . Then he also booked by the Gallery event at Turnmills to warm up for Going places which including Tania Von Pear, John Gibbons, Timmy Stewart and Jimmy Hill. With his consistency and sucess step by step he is becoming closer to his dream to become a Globally knowned DJ/Producer.
